What isYoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy mainly differs from regular yoga sessions in that it is not about learning how to execute yoga postures.  Instead, it applies the tools of yoga--postures; breathwork, meditation & more to address an individual's wellbeing on the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and even spiritual levels.

Specifcally, it can address a range of issues such as:

  • Chronic pain

  • Neurological issues

  • Mental Health

  • Chronic Illness

  • Healthy Again

Yoga Therapy sessions include individual assessment regarding specific concerns.  Therapuetic practices are tailored to the client's goals that empower one toward self-healing.

A yoga therapist had undergone specific training that encompasses a 2-year period with additional training in psychology, biomedicine, anatomy and pathphysiology so to adapt yoga to suit the individual.
